Abstract: There are important parallels between the 1963 case of the self-immolation of Vietnamese Buddhist monk Thích Qu?ng Ð?c and the recent case in British Columbia (2021) of a father who was forced against his will by the court and the state to facilitate the pharmaceutical “sex reassignment” of his teenage daughter.
