All of this has been normalised under cover of a declared medical emergency, and like some modern Milgram experiment, the masses have fallen into line. Anyone who dares to even question the new normal – the constant hand sanitizing; the ubiquitous temperature taking; the social distancing; the contact tracing – is now perceived as a threat to society. If there’s an elephant in the room it’s probably the fact that there seems to be no pandemic to speak of.
